The Token Token Identity Theory states that every individual mental event is directly linked to a physical process in the brian, occurring at the exact same moment. Every thought, emotion and input is therefore not something abstract and detached from reality, but something truely real in the most literal sense.

But still: We never perceive reality directly but only through our brain. That fact alone makes reality itself relative. If all we experience is mediated, then the boundaries of reality are not and were never fixed – They expand with every new way we are able to feel, think and interact.

Games are the most direct form of art. Interactivity makes the gap between the observer and the observed disappear thus the observer becoming the player. And so if every mental event is real, then experiences shaped by games and art are as well giving us endless possibilities to experience endless realities.
